Why Do You Need Online Network Marketing Training?

There is something that I have noticed a lot recently. I guess that it has always been there, but for some cause, it seems to have been bombarding me lately. What I am talking about is in reality a very familiar problem I see among network marketers. I find this problem very easy to fix, so I'll try to help you out as much as possible.

Let me show you what I am talking about with an example. I am 24 years old and I graduated college with a degree in biology. I have never taken any classes in medicine or anything to do with being a doctor. Let’s say that tomorrow I make a decision that I would like to be a doctor. Would it make sense for me to drive down to the E.R. and ask if I can start cutting into people’s hearts?

You’re most likely thinking, duh! Of course no one would do that! It doesn’t make any sense for someone without medical training to try to be a doctor! That would never happen! Not to mention, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t feel very comfortable doing it either. The depressing part is, it’s not really as "obviously dumb" as you think, because it occurs in the network marketing industry EVERY DAY! People who have no familiarity at all in business resolve to give it a try and jump right in. Then they wonder why they fail . . .

I like that anyone in this industry can succeed, but when we say that, it means anyone who is ready to take the time and effort to learn this business inside and out.

Let’s imagine that you just got a brand new job handling a cash register at Wal-Mart. You show up for the first day and you get with your supervisor. The first thing she does, without giving you any training, is walk you over to a register and tell you to get to work. What would you do? Obviously, either you would complain that you don’t know how to make use of it, or you would just go and figure it out.

It would take you a little while to figure it out, but eventually you would master it. Nevertheless, a cash register is simply a few buttons with labels on them. Picture how hard learning an entire industry and creating your own brand would be without receiving training to begin with!

This is why EVERY industry in the world calls for training. If you want to write ads for Best Buy, they don’t just throw any Joe in there and trust he knows what he’s doing. If you want to be a teacher, doctor, accountant, or engineer, you have to go to at least 4 years of college to master it and then extensive training at your new job.

Around 95% of online marketers are using more money than they are earning. So, how can you be a part of the elite 5% if you don’t even take the time to train? When you don’t take the time to learn your industry beforehand, there are many problems that take place. A few of these are:

You don’t produce any leads

You throw away your time trying to find something that works

If you do get a prospect, you don’t know what to do with them

You lose your money

You market your business instead of yourself

I struggled in the network marketing industry for quite a bit of time. The reason that eventually I was able get out of the rut and start making money was because I decided to take the time to train myself. I had to learn this industry extensively before I really knew how to create a business and make money.
